Biennial One is a new open juried exhibition at the New Hampshire Art Association (NHAA). Although the NHAA, has a
long history of hosting juried exhibits, Biennial One is different. For this exhibition, the NHAA invites artists taking creative risks
to submit 1 to 3 pieces of their best work using abstract expression, addressing contemporary environmental and
social justice issues, working in new media, and pushing boundaries.

Biennial One has no theme. All media are welcome, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, collage, printmaking, fiber, and digital art. Artists may submit a brief written statement for each of the submitted works.

The juror for this exhibition is Lorenzo Fusi, Chief Curator and Curator of Contemporary Art at the Currier Museum of Art.
Learn more about the juror here.

There will be two rounds of jurying for Biennial One, one online and one in-person. Artists will be notified of the status
of their artwork(s) in the first round by August 11th. Those invited to submit their work in the second phase must bring
